Kush Groove's Joey Kinebud
The concept for a "Joey Kinebud" type-of-character was born out of a desire to create a brand symbol for Kush Groove. We wanted an animal to represent the brand because we figured it'd have a broader appeal.
Similarly we wanted something to represent what we were trying to portray through the brand: a slow and steady vibe. From there, Joey Kinebud was born.
When you think about Joey Kinebud, this is who he is: Joey's the guy in high school that's everyone's friend and always has weed. He's super cool, always fun, and he doesn't age.

Slow & Steady Wins the Race
Our Kush Groove turtle, Joey Kinebud, symbolizes much of how we live and what we strive towards—longevity and wisdom. In contrast to the fast-paced city life, the city stoner appreciates each detail, ponders each word and analyzes each event.
This straddling between the fast-paced and a life of leisure is where we reside. The turtle, wise, contemplative and calculating is the perfect symbol for our brand.

In celebration of our more then a dozen years in business, and to commemorate the opening of our first dispensary, we decided to have a one-of-a-kind brand statue of the turtle, Joey Kinebud, created exclusively for our Cambridge shop.
We welcome everyone, 21 years and up of course, to come by and patron our small business. We're a BIPOC and woman owned business, and we'd love to see your support.
